INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING ABSTRACTS

The abstracts will form the basis for the selection of presentations at the conference. Each abstract must state clearly:
             • Purpose of the work
             • Manner and degree to which it advances the state of the art
             • Specific results that have been obtained
The extent to which abstracts address these points will affect strongly their selection for presentation at MNE 2006. The most common cause for rejection is lack of specific results. Authors are asked to submit a two-page abstract: the first page should contain text only; the second should contain figures, tables or photographs illustrating the results of the work. Both text and figures must fit within a frame of 160 mm x 240 mm. Use 11-point Times New Roman font for the text and 12-point Times New Roman for the Title.  as specified in the template. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. Specify page size A4. Pages should not be numbered.

Abstracts should be submitted on-line via website http://www.mne-conf.org/2006. Abstracts submitted via fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

Templates for preparing the abstracts are available at the MNE06 website in MS-Word versions. Only PDF-Format is accepted when submitting the abstract. Maximum size of the file is 5 MB.

Authors should indicate their presentation preference:
  1. Poster presentation only
  2. Oral or poster presentation
The selection committee reserves the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method.

After having submitted your abstract, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the following information:
  1. Reference number of your abstract (for further correspondence and questions)
  2. Your personal access codes.
